Silent Films are the best

Silent films? Whats that? Just kidding, I may not be a fan of silent films but I do enjoy watching Mr.Bean.

Mr. Bean is a British visual comedy, styllisically its a silent comedy show. Bean rarely speaks, and the largely physical humour of the series is derived from Bean's interactions with other people and his unusual solutions to situations. The series was influenced by physical performers such as Jacques Tati and comic actors from silent films. The first show was brodcasted on January 1, 1990.  The thing is, Rowan Atkinson decided to keep the film silent. Well relevently silent. Its got such good humour that it keeps my eyes glued to the screen. The silent film era started from 1890-1920. The fact that Rowan Atkins wanted to keep the show relevently silent makes it not only more interesting, but more funny. His expressions and reactions to things that happen, is amusing. The show can be watched over and over again and I bet you'd still laugh... or maybe its just me ? Anyways, the fact that, that show can be funny without adding humour is a hands up to silent films. Oddly I guess i can say, I enjoy certain films/ shows silently.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone trying to make a silent film now a'days, I bet they couldn't make it as good as back in the day, maybe the picture quality and sound effects may be better, and having colour would be better. But I think they wouldn't be able to act the parts out enough, to make it look as if what their doing is what you understand. Presently actors/ actresses personality and words they speak is everything, it adds on to the movie, or show. Just seeing people and their reactions may not be enough anymore. People expect the most out of everything, it makes me feel like spiderman, it drives me up the wall. (gives a dirty look)

But besides me figuring out by the end of this blog, I not only enjoy silent shows and films
but I've been thinking, bloggin, is for me.
although I'd like to be annomous because I'd like to talk real stuff,
real world stuff, real life.
