Believe it I made Hip-Hop.

Welcome to Modern Hip Hop
According to Mce

      JUST KIDDING
                          Hip
-hop emerged in the early 1970's. It didn’t become interesting until 1999 according to me anyways. Thats when Eminem also known as Marshall Mathers, or nickname Slim Shady became popular. He is one of my favourite rappers. For more reasons then one, he doesn’t only put his emotions into his music with his words and tone of voice but he also attempted to get his music and himself into the world. Being a huge rap fan for most of his life, he began rapping at the age of 4. Rhyming words together and even battling schoolmates in the lunchroom. That brought him joy, although school was a painful experience. At 14 he began getting really interested in rapping, but it wasn’t until 17 that he actually made a name for himself. M&M which later then got re-spelt to "Eminem". Being rejected by most fellow rappers because of his race, Em grew an ager that flows through his music to this day. For that, I will forever love him. The anger and sad emotions he puts into his songs have drawn me in from the first album to the last. The first CD I have ever bought was Em’s Curtain Call: The hits. It was released in December, 6th, 2005. Eminem is only one rapper that has interested me into the rap game.

Hip hop has changed from before. In the ancient African tribal rhythms and musical traditions survived the shock of the transportation of millions of Africans as slaves to the Americans, and after 300 years of slavery in the so called Land of Free the sounds of Old Africa became the new sounds of black America. Rapping, the rhythmic use of spoken or semi-sung lyrics grew from its roots in the tribal chants and the plantation work songs to become, an integral part of black resistance to an overwhelming white society.

Eminem isn’t the only rapper that has changed hip-hop, Kanye West and T-Pain in my perspective have also changed hip-hop completely. Kanye Omari West moved to New York in 2001 to persue his music career full time as a singer/ writter. T-Pain has been rapping since the year 2000. To me he has started the auto-tune in hip-hops music. Its told that auto tune made him, since auto tune has been in effect I find that not only T-Pain is using it, but Kanye and other rappers like Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj are using it to. I searched T-Pain on his auto-tune, and this site was updated June 2nd, 2011, it states that T-Pain has sworn off the use of Auto-Tune in his favour of his own branded "T-Pain Effect." That means no more crazy Auto-Tuned vocal songs from him. Its upsetting I know right, because Auto-Tune made hip-hop different from all the other genres. Well maybe T-Pain won’t be using Auto-Tune anymore, but that just gives everyone else the advantage of using it to the best of their ability. Although no one can beat T-Pain, not this year anyways.

Extra.
Extra.
Read all about him!
T-Pain was tired of the borders that divides hip-hop and soul, especially since he was excellent at both. "I just got tired of turning on the radio and everything just sounding the same," remarks the Tallahassee, Florida native whose government name is Faheem Najm.
"I know it might sound corny, but I wanted to try and make something different." After doing an unofficial remix of Akon’s "Locked Up," the African sensation signed T-Pain to his Konvict Music imprint. He also reveals truthful, and almost embarrassing, feelings for exotic dancers on the bravely stated "I’m In Love With A Stripper."

RiP: a remix manifesto was made by Brett Gaylor to shatter the walls between users and producers. The main reason the film was made is because the band Girl Talk which is a mash-up that creates different songs out of simple based songs. Thats called copyright and piracy. His point of view was the fact that bands like Girl Talk shouldn't get shut down because they use songs to make their own out of already used songs. I agree with Brett, hearing remixes of other songs in a different point of view is better then the original usually, they aren't exactly the same, theres usually more then two songs in one song that they remix together. I enjoy remixs best.
Copyright is a set of rights granted to the author or creator of an original work, including the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work. Copyright owners have the right to exercise control over copying and other exploitation of the works for a specific period of time, after which the work is said to enter the public domain. Although sometimes I don't agree with past songs getting made into new songs and changing country songs into rap songs, but come to think about it, it's different, it's new. I like it. Of course its okay to be bias.

This film from the begining was interesting, the opening music, the guy drinking back stage, from Girl Talk
Talks party. The music was awesome, and so different, I actually want some of those beats. I actually liked this film!

Silent Films are the best

Silent films? Whats that? Just kidding, I may not be a fan of silent films but I do enjoy watching Mr.Bean.

Mr. Bean is a British visual comedy, styllisically its a silent comedy show. Bean rarely speaks, and the largely physical humour of the series is derived from Bean's interactions with other people and his unusual solutions to situations. The series was influenced by physical performers such as Jacques Tati and comic actors from silent films. The first show was brodcasted on January 1, 1990.  The thing is, Rowan Atkinson decided to keep the film silent. Well relevently silent. Its got such good humour that it keeps my eyes glued to the screen. The silent film era started from 1890-1920. The fact that Rowan Atkins wanted to keep the show relevently silent makes it not only more interesting, but more funny. His expressions and reactions to things that happen, is amusing. The show can be watched over and over again and I bet you'd still laugh... or maybe its just me ? Anyways, the fact that, that show can be funny without adding humour is a hands up to silent films. Oddly I guess i can say, I enjoy certain films/ shows silently.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone trying to make a silent film now a'days, I bet they couldn't make it as good as back in the day, maybe the picture quality and sound effects may be better, and having colour would be better. But I think they wouldn't be able to act the parts out enough, to make it look as if what their doing is what you understand. Presently actors/ actresses personality and words they speak is everything, it adds on to the movie, or show. Just seeing people and their reactions may not be enough anymore. People expect the most out of everything, it makes me feel like spiderman, it drives me up the wall. (gives a dirty look)

But besides me figuring out by the end of this blog, I not only enjoy silent shows and films
but I've been thinking, bloggin, is for me.
although I'd like to be annomous because I'd like to talk real stuff,
real world stuff, real life.

No Blogging....

Note: Blogging isn't for me. IF I knew this class was mainly about blogging, I would have considered another class. Maybe drama, I'm dramatic. To dramatic possibly.

Anyways despite disliking this class hugly as of now, I  still have to blog... So I'll talk about my life, it revolves around music. I enjoy music so much that I believe that media is admittedly important in my life. Although I don't care to know what celebreties are up to and their pointless drama, theres more to media then celebrities, t.v and internet. Music is my life ♥, music keeps me calm, satisfied and complete. Without music, I couldn't even get myself up in the morning.

I may use the internet a lot,  and not just to go on Facebook to chat to my friends or put more pictures up to remember good times, but I also use it to do school work (cough cough, as I am right now), search things up on google, and of course to search music and revert it to my Ipod. I can't say this enough I use my Ipod the most, out of everything I think. Theres never a day I dont have to charge it, but thats the same with my phone. Theres a difference though, the only thing I do on my phone is text friends or family. My Ipod has games, horiscopes, notes, internet use if avalible, weather updates, maps and most importantly music. Main music I listen to is hip-hop, punk, rock or rap. Oddly when I was young I use to listen to country, now that I've grown up I changed huge... country to rap thats a weird change. It goes to show that no one stays the same. Now that I'm off topic I'll get back on track :]

Top 2010 album:  Ablum title- Your New Favorite Rapper. By- Legacy.
Reason why I enjoy this album is because around the time it came out, I was having problems with a guy. His songs talk such truth sometimes it makes me laugh listening. I like when a rapper raps about his life and it also reflects on mine. Either it sounds like it's something I should say or something that should be said to me. I like how I can relate to what he says, or understand what he says, and how he says it. What I love most about him, is he isn't just talking about sex, or drugs like most rappers but hes talking about his love for a woman, and how he actually cares and has feelings. He puts his girl first, although he makes mistakes and may hurt people he knows it's not right. I wish their were more rappers like him.

Example:"I always been the type to put you first
Even when it seen like you aint deserve it
And i know that sometimes i made you hurt
But i swear that i aint do it on purpose
the problem, was that you, would hear me,
but respond based only on what you were feeling
               which led to frustration
that sparked the beginning of...the ending
                (just hear me) "

Reason for these lyrics:  I chose the song Cold heart by Legacy because this was one of my favorites. This song is the one that got me hooked to the way he raps. It's how he can talk about real life, real relationships, not just write about Getting money , and F***ing B****es.

T.V Show: If I watch T.V at all I like to enjoy watching funny shows, I'm not into the reality shows that are drama (such as Jersey Shore). I enjoy watching Family Guy, or America's Funnest Home Videos if I haven't seen it before.  But to be honest I watch more movies over T.V shows.

 k no more ............

Reality Check

Seeing as were teens, we get treated differently. Not just by our parents but also boss's and family to.
I get the feeling from this video that we get treated mostly negatively .  We are the broken by Benefit of a Doubt shows many problems within their music video of what we can and mostly every teens will go through.

I believe that reality is shown well in this video. Teens don't just get bossed around by parents but as shown in the video we can also get treated bad through jobs or school wise. The guy in the video was doing his job, not happily but he was still cleaning for his money. For his boss to come in and start arguing with him to do better, and clean somewhere else isn't the way people should be told. You can't start one job, keep it unfinished to go clean up another mess. The resteraunt was closed so theres no reason to rush into more then you can handle. We are able to do anything we set our minds to, so if a job has to be done a certain way we can learn or do our best. Being treated like crap can and probably will make us do a worse job on it then already shown. Not only is this a problem but because someone is smart, and doesn't have the looks doesnt mean teens should treat others horribly. Shown in video the nerd gets her books pushed out of her hands by the "popular" girl this does happen, but it's not that obvious... Being a teen is a hard job, so why make other teens life worse to?  If teens don't have respect for each other how do we expect adults to treat us then?

I see that as barley anything that teens go through though. I dont know anyone whos bulimic, because if I did they wouldn't be that way. Seeing media and how beautiful were "expected" to look like does have an affect on teens believe it or not. It's a huge thing within our lives. I dont see how people don't think their pretty because they have some weight. There's not a good reason to puke over it, if you wanna be skinny, do it in a healthy way. Talk to your parents they can help, get a gym membership, go with some friends. Puking to be skinny is a really unhealthy way to deal with things. You can't choose how you look, but you can choose your personality and thats what really matters. Being beautiful to me isn't being skinny with nice curves, it's being yourself.

Teen pregnancy is a huge thing in todays world. I know of many teen moms, its not to say we can't be the best or do the best for children but we do have a life of our own to take care of. Think before you do. At the teen age you just start to feel like your living, as you get older you get treated with more respect and don't get the back lash of everything. We deserve good if we do good. Sexual activity is starting way earlier now, I see young people kissing and getting pretty close. Seeing things like this on t.v can show younger kids that its natural and anyone can do it. P.D.A isn't in any of my interest.

This video really appealed to me, and probably many other teens to, not only because the song is good and talks truth, but because the reality in the video is actually surreal. Teen pregnancy, bulimia, and treating others bad because their not pretty, or their nerdy or, their not doing the best job that they can. Live life the way you want, but make sure it's healthy and safe for you and others. I enjoyed this video. Teens need to come together and treat each other better, maybe that will improve on the parents and everyone else in the world.
